It's easy to become overwhelmed with things to do and deadlines to meet. When you feel your head spinning, and are struggling to decide what to do next, making a list can be helpful. A list is a good way to download what's on your mind. Writing down your to-do's creates head space. For true mental clarity, take your to-do list and input it into your daily calendar. When tasks and projects are scheduled, they are far more likely to get finished. Keeping a list is satisfying - especially crossing items off! However, it comes with flaws. Using a list, you are less likely to prioritize what is most important or urgent, and you likely do not list recreational or fun things to do! Use your schedule and assign time for fun events and projects, work to-do's, household chores and time for planning. You will find a great sense of accomplishment in all that you achieve, once you use your calendar system!
