When you shift your attention away from the problem, you are already part of the solution. The more you keep your energy focused upon what you don't want, the more energy you give to that subject.
If you have no idea what the solution is to your greatest challenge, it's all okay.
Simply point your attention in the direction of something you love. What are you grateful for in your life? What brings you joy? Who makes you smile? Problems can cast a dark shadow if you allow them to. But when you can sit, and be with all the good you have, and love all that, you are making way for a solution to the problem that was formerly consuming you.
