The expression "Be the change" has been attributed to Mahatma Gandhi. Exactly how do you "BE" the change?
One way that works for me and my clients is to embody what you want to BE in your body. Using your imagination, picture filling your body up with what you want to experience, or who you want to be.
Suppose you want to be more toned and fit. How will you feel when you are toned and fit? Now picture an empty vessel in the center of your body. Imagine filling that vessel up with the feelings you will feel when you are fit and toned. Now you have those feelings resonating inside you. I find it hard to imagine focusing upon these feelings does not make you smile. Smiling, feeling the feelings of having what you want - these are all ways to "embody in our body" and Be the Change.
