Tend Your Inner Garden for Success:
Having intentions set you up for a successful day. Intentions are like little seeds you plant all day long. I first learned about segment intending from Esther Hicks. My take on what I learned about segment intending is easy to follow:
Identify the time segment. Think of an event that you want to intentionally engage in. You can select a time slot or activity
Give some thought to how you want to feel, what you want to accomplish, and the tone of the segment
Be mindful. Choose feelings now that spark the energy you want to have in the segment. Picture the outcome and how you will feel. Feel those feelings!
Your emotions are energy that will align with the segment. When you are in the segment that you have defined, you are aligned with the energy that you want, enhancing your experience so it matches your intention
How would your day be different if you started with an intention? Being mindful of the experience you want to attract into your life is the best way to align with manifesting that experience. Your thoughts and emotions are energy and your energy has a vibration. That vibration has the ability to attract like vibrations.
So what if you intend to have a calm and peaceful experience at the dentist? Are you willing to play with choosing thoughts and feelings ahead of your appointment segment. How easy is it for you to feel dread, think of the worst case scenario, and sometimes even catastrophize? Pretty easy!
It can be just as easy to feel great, think of the best case scenario and spiral upward into imagining all the best outcomes.
Your mind needs tending just like a garden needs the pruning of plants, pulling weeds, adding fertilizer, watering, and protection from critters.
In-Tend.
Tune In.
Tend to your thoughts.
Today be willing to picture the outcome you desire, feel the feelings of having what you want, allow yourself to align with the segment you are intending.
Let the good stuff happen!
What do you in-tend?
