It's common practice to get hung up on your feelings. Dwelling on and replaying your hurts over and over in your mind is easy to do.
Even though it does not make you feel good, it is somehow compelling.
But, you can break the cycle! When you do, you will feel so free. And freedom is a delectable feeling!
For a first step, rather than ruminate, sit with your feelings. Press your feet on the floor and take some conscious breathes. Be with the feelings that are bubbling up in you. Now, unclench your fists and relax your palms into an open and receiving position. This is called "willing hands."
