What if you choose to eat no processed food today?
I used to run a wellness group where I came up with the health coaching approach that I called "Eat Around the Edges." By "eat around the edges" I am actually referring to shopping the edges of your grocery store.
The "edges" include produce, meats and dairy. All of these foods are perishable. Once you enter the middle aisles, you are approaching the artificially produced and chemicalized foods. These foods (some, not all) are engineered to make you want more!
They are created by food scientists with the intention of supporting their firm in selling more products.
What if, just for today, you choose foods that are engineered by nature? Pay attention to how you feel without the additives. I'd love to hear from you!
