Do your thoughts come first? Do your behaviors train your thoughts? Are you getting a chicken or the egg vibe here?

My coach approach is nestled within the concept that your thoughts are yours to choose, and in so choosing, they contribute to your emotions and your behaviors.

Sometimes though, you may choose a behavior that then causes feelings. Maybe you eat too much, then feel low-self esteem. So did the action of eating cause your feelings? Let's take it a step back. What happened before over-eating? For sure, it was a thought. Because our actions are preceded by thoughts.

So rather than wrestle with which came first, the chicken or the egg? pay attention to your thoughts, and see if they are contributing to behaviors and feelings you want to experience!
