Putting pen to paper may be old school, but it has a way of releasing your worries, putting your fears in perspective, and also, creating muscle memory.
Journaling takes on many forms. My approach is called JAG. It goes like this:
J: Journal - write today's date and time, and simply express through your pen what is on your mind. There is no censor or witness to your words.
A: Affirm- an affirmation is a statement in the present tense, in this case, describing something you would like to be, do, or have. (We affirm all the time in ways like, "I can't do this!") In your journal, your affirmations will reflect what you DO want.
G: Gratitude - just writing this word invokes a sigh of relief in me. How much is happening for you, and in your highest interest, that you are grateful for, right now?
